Tournaments : Competition at its best

One of the beauties of the Golf Les Quatre Domaines course is that, even though both courses are the creation of the same architect, they are adamantly modern and make you live two extremely different experiences.

Host of several tournaments of the Professional Golfers Association of Quebec, Course number 1 stretches 6,744 yards from the furthest milestones. Its main feature is to cater to golfers who put more emphasis on precision rather than power due to the limited width of the fairways and the undulating greens that call for more strategy based on the location of the flags.

As for Course number 2, it is 7,079 yards long from the back milestones, it allows more latitude with long hitters who can satisfy their need to drive without fear and to fully take advantage of their power. That doesn’t mean they should ignore the targets, but several holes, such as the 12th and the 16th, give them the possibility of a reward for the risk they are willing to take…. as demonstrated by John Daly, in 2004, during his visit as a special guest of the Montreal Open. That event of the Canadian circuit attracted the best crowds in its history.

Because of its location relative to Montreal and its easy access from anywhere on the north shore, the Golf Les Quatre Domaines is the ideal place to hold a tournament, a business meeting or simply to get together with friends and enjoy golf packages and suppers that this high-end public club features.
